Graubünden Terrace
About
A mountain terrace gets a new lease on life thanks to lightweight furniture that reflects an art of living.
The outdoor space of this residence has been completely redesigned, giving rise to a vast wooden terrace adorned with an integrated water feature. Teo Jakob designed the various living and resting areas to meet the owner's needs. Practicality and ease of moving cushions and furniture were important criteria for the owner. Indeed, although most of the time the owner lives alone in this large house, she likes to host guests, and her family often visits during weekends and holidays.
Thus, the terrace had to be able to accommodate everyone: the "Landscape" dining table by Kettal offers a comfortable space for ten guests. Around the pool, some seats and lounge chairs have been judiciously placed for a relaxation area. In the lounge area, although the idea of a large sofa might seem obvious, Teo Jakob opted for lighter furniture from Kettal, which has an attractive aesthetic even when stripped of its cushioned elements.
