General guarantee
In accordance with that established in Law 7/1998 of 13 April, this document contains the General Contract Conditions that must govern the sales operations of the products supplied by Kettal, S.L. (hereinafter supplier or seller) to its different consumer or professional customers (buyer or acquirer) and defines the rights and obligations of both parties in relation thereto.
For domestic use, all Kettal products, except for cushions, covers and fabrics (including textilines), are guaranteed for a period of five years against any manufacturing defect that affects their suitability for use. This applies to normal conditions of use and maintenance. This guarantee does not apply to faults or imperfections resulting from the passage of time or normal wear and tear. Circumstances not covered by this guarantee include, but are not limited to, the fading or change in shade of colours, changes in wood texture, scratches resulting from use, etc.
For non-domestic use, by the hotel and catering industry and collectives for example, all Kettal products, except for cushions, covers and fabrics, are guaranteed for a period of two years. This guarantee is subject to the same conditions as outlined above. In case of complaint, contact our representative immediately or contact our offices directly. If the product is checked and is found to be flawed due purely to manufacturing faults, Kettal S.L. will decide whether the product should be repaired or exchanged. Keep the manufacturing batch label attached to the furniture to ensure the validity of the guarantee. For pavilions and pergolas, Kettal does NOT guarantee the product if it is not properly anchored to the floor. Anchoring is the responsibility of the user, not Kettal. Kettal is not responsible for the assembly of any of its products. For appropriate cleaning, water and pH-neutral soap should be used (no power washers or water outside the temperature range of 10-40 °C). The teak used in Kettal products is obtained by selecting the best trunks from sustainably managed plantations controlled by Perhutani. Only the most appropriate trees are selected, one by one. The area used is the central part of the trunk, as it is the straightest and free of branches. From this painstaking selection process we obtain our teak, one of the finest in the world. Marble
Kettal Marble is light and strong, thanks to its technical structure, a combination of marble, aluminium honeycomb and fibreglass. It is a natural matte carbonate stone from the metamorphosed limestone family that is outstanding for its compact texture and fine crystalline structure. Genuine cowhide used in high-wear areas. It has a stain-resistant finish and is easy to clean. One of its key features is its resistance to stains. Thanks to this and many other features, Kettal Leather requires no specific or costly maintenance. For everyday maintenance, clean with a soft cloth and warm water. To extend the life of Kettal Leather, we recommend using a neutral non-oily leather care product every six months. In case of stains, rub gently in circles with a damp cloth from the centre of the stain outwards. Dry the treated area with a cloth. Leather is a natural material, which means there may be slight variations in colour.

Canadian cedar
Comes from British Columbia (Canada). Complies with all legal and environmental regulation from the country of origin; the cutting of such has no ecological impact, ensuring the sustainability of the forest. Due to their nature, the slats may have different tones. The quality of this Thuya plicata is the highest and most pure.
Cedar wood contains a natural oil that gives it its characteristic appearance and a pleasant odour. The oil also serves as internal protection against ants, termites, and other agents. Cedar wood is among the most sought-after and heavily used wood materials in construction and furniture production. Its low density means that the wood does not deform.

Consists of an aluminium base with a wood effect finish. Special inks are used which, when heated, adhere to the material and produce the same effect as wood grain.
Thanks to this process, we are able to apply this finish to aluminium with all the advantages of durability, maintenance, and protection of lacquering and without the inconveniences of wood.
This technique is highly resistant and has greater durability than other materials.

Ceppo di Gre
Ceppo di Gré is a stoneware, vitrified, hard and waterproof ceramic material that is obtained by cooking at high temperatures a clay and sand paste with quartz.
A material characterized by a harmoniously irregular texture, by stones of different color and by tone chromatisms on tone of three-dimensional effect.
The only maintenance required for the synthetic fiber and the porotex mesh is an annual cleaning to get rid of dust and environmental debris (oils, damp) that can be trapped in the mesh or braiding. We recommend spraying the furniture with Kettal Universal cleaner, then wiping it gently with a soft sponge and rinsing with water. Rinsing the synthetic fibre with pressurized water provides better results. It is advisable to clean the synthetic fibre before storing it for the winter and at the beginning of its season of regular use.

Acrylic fabric
The cloth selected by Kettal offers an exceptional grammage with a weight of 400 g/m². Kettal cushions have been treated exclusively with fluorocarbon to protect the fabric from possible stains and other liquids. Fabric maintenance is simple: Brush the fabric occasionally; the fabric can be machine washed at any time following the instructions on the inner label. Throughout the fabric’s useful life, we recommend maintaining the exclusive fluorocarbon impermeable treatment by applying Kettal Fabric Protector according to the instructions. For proper cleaning of the rope, use a dampened cloth in a solution of warm water and mild soap. Use that to clean the rope and then rinse with another damp cloth with water only. Allow to air dry. If the stain is deep or dirt persists, re-wet the rope with soap and water and rub with a soft plastic bristle brush. Rinse and let dry. Do not use water pressure cleaners or harsh chemicals (bleach, ammonia, …) that can affect the fibers that make up the rope.
