Moncalisse Winery

Set against the landscape of Monte Calisio, Moncalisse Winery is conceived in close dialogue with its surroundings. Inspired by the flowing lines of the vineyard, the ancient Coppelle and the symbolic bond between its two founding sisters, the project brings architecture, nature and wine together in a serene and deeply rooted setting.

The winery’s circular architecture, also reflected in the Moncalisse logo, evokes both the letter M and the connection between the sisters, becoming a symbol of identity, memory and harmony. Above ground, white surfaces recall the lightness and precision of sparkling wine, while the red tones of the underground spaces reference the region’s red porphyry.

Across its outdoor areas, Kettal’s Roll and Mesh collections by Patricia Urquiola, together with Passage by Ronan Bouroullec, contribute to the atmosphere of the project, creating spaces for pause, gathering and contemplation. Their presence blends naturally into the landscape, reinforcing the winery’s sense of elegance, materiality and quiet connection with place.
